10. Devon Horse Show

I'm back at the Devon Horse Show. There is something different about Devon. With the show in a small area along with a village of shops and a midway with Ferris wheel and other rides, it is not your ordinary horse show. Not to mention the high caliber of horses and riders. I arrived at Devon at 8:00 am, after a surprisingly quick and quiet commute. Everyone must have taken an extra day off for the holiday. Walked round the show seeing familiar faces from last year. I worked on some larger paintings and decided to do some more intimate sized paintings for this project. This painting is of the ingate into the main ring, The Dixon Oval. Entrance to the ring is under the sign, Devon Horse Show Where Champions Meet
